NCKU Regulations Governing the Establishment of the Recruiting Outstanding Talent

第一條 國立成功大學（下稱本校）為推動校務發展，培植優秀人才，策勵頂尖研究及學術與產業技術發展，提升本校學術及產學合作量能與國際影響力，特設立「國立成功大學延攬傑出人才講座」（下稱本講座），並訂定本要點。

1. For the purpose of cultivating outstanding talent, encouraging top-level research, advancing academic and industrial technologies, and enhancing the academic, industry-university cooperation capacity and international influence of National Cheng Kung University (hereinafter referred to as the “University”), the University has instituted the “NCKU Establishment of Recruiting Outstanding Talent” (hereinafter referred to as the “Establishment”) and formulated these regulations to support the development of university affairs.

第二條 本講座應符合下列資格之一，且於獲選後，經聘任為本校專任教師，始得領取本獎勵：

（一）具備卓越之學術研究成果。
（二）具備產學合作量能與貢獻。
（三）具備國際聲譽及影響力。

2. The Establishment requires candidates to satisfy one of the subsequent criteria. Eligible talent may begin claiming rewards upon being selected and recruited as full-time professor at the University:

(1)Outstanding academic research achievements
(2)Industry-university cooperation capacity and contributions
(3)International reputation and influence

第三條 獎勵金額：每人每年獎勵金以新臺幣貳佰萬元為上限，按月支給。獲獎人數、金額及獎勵期限，視實際經費狀況調整之。

3. Reward amount: The annual reward amount is restricted to a maximum of NT$2,000,000 per person with payments distributed monthly. The number of recipients, price amount, and the reward duration may be adjusted based on the actual funding status.

第四條 本校設「國立成功大學延攬傑出人才講座審查委員會」（下稱審查委員會），辦理本講座遴選事宜。審查委員會置委員五至七人，召集人為校長或由校長指派副校長一人擔任，其餘委員由召集人推薦校內外教授或專家學者，陳請校長敦聘之。

4. The University has instituted the “Review Committee of NCKU Establishment of Recruiting Outstanding Talent” (hereinafter referred to as the “Review Committee”) to conduct selection of the Establishment. The Review Committee shall comprise 5-7 members, with the President or an appointed Vice President serving as the convener. The remaining seats shall be recommended by the convener and filled by scholars and experts inside or outside NCKU, and submitted to the President for appointment.

第五條 本要點所需經費，由校務基金受贈收入項下支應。

5. Source of funds: The funds required by the Regulations shall be furnished by donation income of the University Endowment Fund.

第六條 本要點經主管會報通過，陳請校長核定後實施，修正時亦同。

6. These principles shall be implemented after being approved by the Executive Board Meeting and shall be amended in the same manner.
