NCKU Regulations on the Recruitment of Elite Talent

一、國立成功大學（下稱本校）為延攬國內外學術卓著學者與優秀人才，提升學術競爭力，特訂定本要點。
For the purpose of recruiting distinguished scholars and outstanding talents from domestic and international to enhance academic competitiveness, National Cheng Kung University (hereinafter referred to as the “ University”) hereby establishes these Regulations.
二、補助對象：本校新聘編制內專任教師。
Eligible recipients: Newly appointed full-time faculty members within the official staffing quota of the University.
三、補助金額與名額：視當年度實際經費狀況調整。
Subsidy amount and number of recipients: Adjusted based on the actual funding availability of the year.
四、本校為辦理延攬菁英人才審查事宜，設「國立成功大學延攬菁英人才審查委員會」（下稱審查委員會），置委員五至九人，召集人為校長或由校長指派副校長一人擔任，其餘委員由校長敦聘校內外相關領域專家學者擔任。
To conduct the review process for the Recruitment, the University has instituted the “NCKU Elite Talent Recruitment Review Committee” (hereinafter referred to as the “Review Committee”).The Review Committee shall consisted of 5 to 9 members, with the President or an appointed Vice President served as the convener. Other members shall be appointed by the President from among internal or external experts and scholars in relevant fields.
五、推薦與審查方式：

(一) 各學院得於擬聘任教師經三級教師評審委員會審議通過前，檢具推薦表及相關佐證資料，向審查委員會提出推薦。
(二) 審查委員會依擬聘任教師之專業、學術地位及成就，參考國際學術研究趨勢、被推薦人之研究與校務發展契合程度，及學院系所支持程度，作為審查標準，審查通過後並建議補助金額，提交校長核准，依核定金額發放補助金。

Recommendation and review procedures:

(1) Before the candidate passes the third-level Faculty Review Committee evaluation, each college may submit a recommendation form and supporting documents to the Review Committee.

(2) The Review Committee shall evaluate the candidate based on their expertise, academic standing, and achievements, with referencing global research trends, alignment with the University’s development goals, and the level of departmental and college support. Following the review, the Committee shall propose the subsidy amount and submit it for the President’s approval. The subsidy shall be granted based on the approved amount.

六、依前點第二款規定獲補助者，經聘任為本校專任教師且完成聘任程序後，始得領取本補助。補助金一次撥給，使用期間為兩年。
Recipients approved under Article 5(2) may receive the subsidy only after officially being appointed as full-time faculty and completing the hiring procedures. The subsidy shall be disbursed in a lump sum and used within a two-year period.
七、獲補助教師應於補助金使用期屆滿前一個月，繳交執行成果報告，送審查委員會備查。
Subsidy recipients shall submit a performance report to the Review Committee for recordkeeping one month prior to the end of the subsidy period.
八、本要點所需經費，由校務基金受贈收入項下支應。
The funding required under these Regulations shall be covered by the donation income of the University Endowment Fund.
九、本要點未盡事宜，依本校其他相關規定辦理。
Matters not covered in these Regulations shall be handled in accordance with other relevant regulations of the University.
十、本要點經行政會議通過後實施，修正時亦同。
These Regulations shall be implemented upon approval by the Administrative Council, and any amendments shall follow the same procedure.
